Pets age faster than humans and can be considered “seniors” around the age of 7 years. As your pet ages, its health care needs change, along with its nutritional needs and exercise habits. Some health issues can begin with subtle changes that could go unnoticed until the problem becomes serious. We can help you distinguish between the normal aging process and a medical problem. Routine wellness blood work and other diagnostic testing are important for senior pets because this allows us to evaluate how your pet’s health is either responding to current management strategies or changing with age.
